During this week, schools and communities organize special activities to show gratitude and appreciation to teachers and staff members. From heartfelt thank-you notes and gifts to special events and shows of gratitude, Staff Appreciation Week is an opportunity to recognize the immense value that teachers, aides, paras, secretaries, custodians, cooks, bus drivers, coaches, nurses, itinerants, and administrators add to our communities. It is a time to say "thank you" and show our love and appreciation for all they do for us and our future.

This week, we celebrate and honor the dedication, knowledge, and expertise of school nurses nationwide. They play an invaluable role in ensuring that our students are healthy, safe, and ready to learn. The certification covers 5 areas: basic food safety, personal hygiene, cross-contamination and allergens, time and temperature and cleaning and sanitation.
