Congrats to Easton Benavidez, AJ Almanza, Jace Grizzle, Isaac Fall, Nate Dold ad Eli Martinez for qualifying for the 3-2-1 A State Wrestling Tourney in Salina on February 22-24. The LHS squad qualified 6 wrestlers and scored 114 points to finish 3rd on the day behind Hoisington and Republic County.
Congrats to Eli Martinez on earning his 100th wrestling win at Lyons HS.

Ray and Evelyn Lippelmann Teacher Award
Has a teacher touched your life? Do you know a teacher who has been a
great influence on students? Anyone may nominate a teacher for the Ray
and Evelyn Lippelmann Outstanding Teacher Award. This is a financial
award that is presented annually to a USD #405 – Lyons teacher who has
demonstrated excellence in the teaching profession.
Previous winners from the past five years who are not eligible for the 2023-
24 year are BJ Smith, Brian Friess, Trisha Stover, Teresa Konda and Austin
Gautier.
