Ray and Evelyn Lippelmann Teacher Award
Has a teacher touched your life? Do you know a teacher who has been a
great influence on students? Anyone may nominate a teacher for the Ray
and Evelyn Lippelmann Outstanding Teacher Award. This is a financial
award that is presented annually to a USD #405 – Lyons teacher who has
demonstrated excellence in the teaching profession.
Previous winners from the past five years who are not eligible for the 2023-
24 year are BJ Smith, Brian Friess, Trisha Stover, Teresa Konda and Austin
Gautier.

than March 7. Nominees will be evaluated by Wichita State University.

Congrats to AJ Almanza (113 lbs) for his 6th place finish and Nate Dold (157 lbs) for his 5th place finish at the KSHSAA State Wrestling Championships today in Salina.
AJ Almanza and Nate Dold both drop their consolation semifinal matches at the 3-2-1A State Wrestling Tournament and will wrestle for 5th and 6th place. .
