Park Elementary's School Reopening Parent Meetings are August 24th and 25th from 7:30am to 3:30pm. Teachers will be setting up meeting times for parents to come in and talk with them. If you have a temperature or are experiencing any COVID symptoms, please stay home. Temperatures will be checked when you arrive.
At the meetings, teachers will go over our school's reopening plan along with answering any questions you might have. Meeting times will be on a strict schedule so staff can clean between visits, so please arrive on time and plan to leave promptly after your meeting. Students are asked to stay home and not attend these back to school meetings so we can limit the number of people in the building. Thank you!

Due to the recent changes in Rice County from increased numbers of COVID-19 cases, the Lyons High School graduation ceremony has been moved from the auditorium to the football field to allow for better social distancing. The ceremony will begin at 1:00 pm on Sunday, July 26. The north stadium will be used as the stage for the graduation.
To make the ceremony as safe as possible the following guidelines need to be followed:
1. Guests attending the ceremony will be limited to ten per graduate, and family groups need to follow the recommended 6’ social distance from other family groups.
2. Face masks are strongly encouraged and recommended for all attending the ceremony
3. There will be no hand shaking with the graduates
4. Guests will need to bring their own blankets or lawn chairs to set up on the football field. With this being an outside ceremony, make sure that you are properly hydrated and that you use sunscreen, umbrellas, and hats to protect yourself from the sun. Mosquito spray is also strongly recommended
