Congrats junior Tessa Miller for taking 1st place in #1 singles at the Lyons Varsity Tennis Triangular Monday.. Sophomore Shelby Johnston nabbed 2nd place at #2 singles. Sophomore Victoria Contreras and Freshman Mia Bryant finished in 2nd place at #2 doubles. As a team, the Lady Lions (competing w/o their #1 doubles team of Jayme Belote & Bella Bryant) finished 2nd to Hillsboro; Nickerson placed 3rd.


Admission tickets to the Lyons Varsity VB (tourney)Quads on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020 @ 9:00 am have been dispersed to the VB Team for parents. Any extra tickets can be obtained by contacting the HS office at 257-5114.

Central Parent Reminder:
Lifetouch Central School Pictures will be taken on Monday, Sept. 28th. Picture order packets will be sent home with students. If you want to purchase pictures please make your selection of packages available and return the attached envelope with the money or online payment code.


Parents and patrons wanting tickets for the FB Homecoming game this Friday, Sept. 25, will need to contact the HS office at 257-5114 to reserve your tickets. You will need to pick the tickets up at the HS beginning Thursday, Sept. 24th. Tickets will be dispersed to the FB players, Band and Lionaires members on Wednesday.

Lyons MS/HS COVID Fan Guidelines
Cross Country:
*Masks may be worn by fans in shared common spaces where social distancing cannot be maintained. Example: Start/Finish Line areas and team tents. Masks may be removed if social distancing can be maintained. Social distancing practiced throughout the course facility.
Football:
*A maximum of 25 percent capacity will be allowed in *Masks will be required for entry and at shared common spaces where social distancing cannot be maintained. Example: Concession areas, restrooms, and main entries. Masks will be removed if social distancing can be maintained. Social distancing practiced in the stands.
Volleyball:
*A maximum of 25 percent capacity will be allowed in *Limit of 2 or 3 fans per participant depending on team numbers *Masks will be required for entry into all league venues and temperature checks will be taken at the door. Masks will be worn at all times while indoors. Social distancing practiced in the stands.
Tennis:

Expectations & Procedures

Parents of LHS JV and "C" Team VB members can stop by the LHS office today to pick up your 2 tickets to attend the CKL VB Tri today (9/15/20) at Hillsboro. Varsity team members were given tickets to take home to parents yesterday. Lyons plays at 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm

USD 405 will serve lunches to the remote learners at the High School back door of the kitchen between 11:00 and 11:30. We would like for you to call the High School office if you would like to pick up a meal. We will also be serving lunches on Wednesday at Park and Central as a drive though grab n' go. The time for Wednesday is 11:00 to 12:30.

Congrats to junior Bella Bryant for her 3rd place medal at #2 singles at the 10-team Pratt Invitational Tennis Tournament Saturday. Tessa Miller and Mia Bryant competed for the Lady Lions in #1 doubles.
