Central Elementary School was constructed in 1956
and renovated in 2005.

The facility currently consists of:

To begin their day, students may choose to have breakfast in the cafeteria using their school meal funds
or walk before school in our gymnasium. The breakfast and walking program are from 7:30 to 8:00 A.M.
Keep in mind the school doors are locked and no supervision until 7:30 A.M.
Students are to enter the school through the EAST gym door entrance and report to the
gymnasium for our morning walking program and opening assembly.
At 8:00 A.M. the Pledge of Allegiance is recited followed by a moment of silence
and any needed announcements.

Students attend classes:
8:00 AM to 3:15 PM Monday through Thursday
School hours on Fridays are 9:00 AM to 3:15 PM
All doors of our building remain locked during the school day.
Visitors are asked to enter through the South entrance.

Accompanying regular classroom activities we have support for students with special needs.

Central provides supplementary daily 30-minute instruction periods in the following:
Math
Music
Reading
Physical Education
Formal library time is provided weekly

A walking program:
Available for students who arrive at school early. Doors open at 7:30 a.m.

Cafeteria facilities:
Breakfast from 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM and
lunch, at the student's set time, is available in our cafeteria.
