Reno Valley, Pratt-Liberty, Lyons, Hoisington, Larned
Lyons will host three track meets that start during the school day. We will dismiss early on those days so that we can get our students and staff cleared out of the parking lot before the visiting teams begin arriving and this will allow our track workers from each building can get to the meet on time.
Thursday, April 6, all schools dismiss at 2:00

Good luck to this year's Lyons/Sterling baseball team. They will kick off the varsity season on March 28 at Larned
Four students from Lyons High School's Production Welding class attended Hutchinson Community College's Welding Technology program. The students worked with the HCC instructor to prepare them for the 1 G weld test. Students passing the 1 G weld test and now certified are Alex Mead, McKayla Brandt, Nathan Arenivas, and Jacob Keffer.

On Sunday the Rice County Arts Council hung a show at Studio 96 in Sterling composed of Lyons, Sterling and Little River Schools. While we are down a little compared to normal from me being gone the majority of last semester, the students have fought to get caught up and a few were recognized for their talents, but most importantly their hard work and efforts!

The show will be on display at Studio 96 in Sterling open for viewing from 9:30a-6p Today-Friday and Saturday 9:30a-Noon.
Junior and Senior students and parents: There is an After Prom meeting Tuesday March 21, starting at 6pm in the LHS cafeteria. We will be reviewing last minute purchases and needs. Parents can also sign-up for an activity that they would like to supervise during the After Prom. Money will be collected for T-shirts that have been ordered. Shirts are $10 for parents and $5 for junior and senior students. All other guests will pay $15 for their shirts. Check your email for Google Meeting link if needed.
Students who need points toward admission are encouraged to attend.
