Dear Parents:
As the number of COVID-19 cases in the county have increased significantly for all age groups and are still trending upwards, Lyons schools will be moving to the Remote Learning Model starting on Thursday, November 19.
Your child’s building principal will send you information on your child’s remote learning plan. The remote plan is different for each building, so please take the time to become familiar with the plans from each of your children’s buildings. If you have any questions about a remote plan, call your child’s school.
You will be notified before Thanksgiving Day about the learning model for the following week of November 30. Right now, the plan is to return to on-site learning on Monday, November 30 if the COVID trends begin to decrease during the weeks of November 16 and November 23.
