The Lyons golf course is located on the corner of South Grand and American Road. This location is west of the LHS school building. It features 2,902 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 35. The course rating is 34.8 and it has a slope rating of 119. Designed by Dewey Longworth, the Lyons golf course opened in 1924.  This 9-hole course, originally part of the Lyons Country Club, is now a public course under the management of the Lyons Recreation Commission. Based in Lyons, Kansas, the Lyons Recreation Commission has been providing recreational opportunities for the citizens of USD#405 and beyond for over 40 years.
There is limited parking available on the North side of the course.
