Dear Junior Parents,
The school year is flying by and prom is almost here. With most of the
preparation in place, there are a few things we could use your help with. We are looking for parents to help with the food preparation and clean up from the banquet and then help clean up the decorations on Sunday. We’re needing about 4 people to help the kitchen staff at about 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 10. This will be to plate the desserts and prepare the salads. We will then need about 6 people to help the kitchen staff starting at 6:00 p.m. to plate the meal, coordinate servers, and clean dishes during the banquet. On Sunday, April 11 at 2:00 p.m., we can use some help in taking down the prom decorations and getting the gym ready for school Monday. The more help we get, the faster it will go. Good News! Due to the low COVID19 positivity rate in Rice County, it will NOT be necessary for students to be tested for COVID19 to attend the Lyons High School prom. Students were informed this morning that testing would not be necessary. Estimados padres de familia,
El año escolar está volando y el baile de graduación está casi aquí. Con la mayor parte de preparación en su lugar, hay algunas cosas en las que podríamos usar su ayuda. Estamos buscando padres para ayudar con la preparación de la comida y limpiar de la banquete y luego ayudar a limpiar las decoraciones el domingo. Necesitamos unas 4 personas para ayudar al personal de la cocina alrededor de las 4:00 p.m. el sábado 10 de abril. Este será para servir los postres y preparar las ensaladas.
