Saturday, March 111th, the LHS Powerlifting Team traveled to Conway Springs High School to compete at their 15th Annual Powerlifting Meet. There were a total of 403 student athletes representing 26 schools. As a team, LHS was represented by eight student-athletes who placed 15 out of 26 for team results. Despite missing a few team members due to spring break, trips, and prior commitments we were able to have individual success competing and Maddox Link, an 8th-grade student at LMS was able to become the first LMS student-athlete to compete within a Jr. Powerlifting Meet.
Every student athlete hit a personal PR in AT LEAST one individual lift once again.
